My experience at Skindulgence, albeit one of great pampering, has also included a lot of education about skincare. The information given has been well researched and is offered as educative not in a manner to sell product only. I have appreciated this immensely. Due to the education I have received, literally at Taz's hands, I can confidently educate my own adolescent daughter on caring for her skin. Taz has indeed created an Urban Retreat@ in Port Moody. She and her staff are able to help the client leave the stresses at the door and indulge in some rejuvenating, relaxing treatments. Whether I am coming in to receive a waxing, a laser treatment, a facial or to shop for gifts it is a pleasure to visit the Spa. August 01, 2006 I have never had a bad experience at Skindulgence and my review is based on extensive personal testing of several treatments from facial to pedicure. The client relationship at The Urban Retreat begins long before you enter the door; it begins when you make the appointment. It doesn't end when you leave, but continues on in how you feel for the next few days. I have always by being warmly welcomed into the spa and treated with the utmost of respect and integrity. The spa is large enough for privacy, but small enough for intimacy. The atmosphere is calming and tranquil where everyone is welcome. The adjoining treatment rooms have been an indulgence my friends and I have enjoyed frequently. The staff is well trained and offers ethical, competent and customized advice on all their treatments and products. This is a quality in professionals that I value most and one that Skindulgence excels at. It is always with great pleasure that I recommend Skindulgence to my friends and family! Giving Back Skindulgence has always strongly believed in giving back to the community. The following are some of the events and charities we have supported over the years:
One
of the on-going programs we donate to is WISH “Women’s Info
Safe House”. This is a volunteer based centre helping women on
the Eastside with clothing, food, and shelter. Skindulgence has been
involved for almost two years and we give back to these women by accepting
donations on your behalf and passing it on to them. Extra products,
samples or testers are also donated by the spa. We have also donated
10% of our proceeds to the society on Spahh Day.
